Long-reach excavator operator Kajaani

We are seeking an experienced long-reach excavator operator for a project in Kajaani for our client company. The candidate will have several years of experience operating long-reach excavators in diverse earthworks and/or infrastructure construction tasks, ability to work independently, and a safe work approach. Previous experience with 3D machine control is considered an advantage. Work is expected to start around August–September 2026, for an initial period of until November–December 2026, with possible extension within the project. Work locations are in the Kajaani area. Accommodation will be arranged for traveling workers. Responsibilities include: operating a long-reach excavator on diverse earthworks projects; ensuring safety and efficient operation; coordinating with the team; adapting to shift work and travel requirements; communicating in Finnish. Qualifications include a valid occupational safety card, autonomous workstyle, readiness for shift work and travel, fluency in Finnish, and experience with 3D machine control (Novatron). Personal transport is required to reach the worksite. We offer a pay scale compliant with Infra industry collective agreement or better, with an hourly rate of 15.71–20 EUR depending on skills and experience; interesting and varied tasks; client-provided housing; a dedicated Worker contact person to assist with employment matters.
