Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a healthcare assistant for the Etelä-Pohjanmaa welfare region's temporary staffing in the resource services. Initial placement at Kaislahovi, Evijärvi. Start on 14 September 2026 or by agreement. The role is permanent and in the resource services unit, primarily to cover long-term absences (annual leave) in the elderly 24/7 care unit at Kaislahovi in Evijärvi. The resource services unit within the Etelä-Pohjanmaa welfare region aims to ensure workforce availability in various absence scenarios across units. As a temporary worker you may also work across a wider area and outside your own unit. We will train you for the task. The initial placement is KAISLAHOVI, EVIJÄRVI. We expect an enthusiastic attitude, good collaboration and interpersonal skills, strong commitment, and the ability to work flexibly in changing situations. The work is on three shifts. Qualification required is a social and health care basic qualification, practical nurse (as defined by law 559/1994 or 817/2015). Registration in the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) as a licensed health professional is required. Willingness to complete or have completed the LOVe medication licenses within one month from start. Terms of employment and salary are governed by the SOTE collective agreement, with a task-based salary at the start of the employment of 2627.08 €/month. A probationary period applies. A health certificate and a criminal background check under Act 741/2023 §28 must be presented before starting. A drug test may be required. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace.
