Welder

We are seeking a skilled welder for Valkeakoski to join a growing and versatile metalwork operation. The job starts immediately for the right person and work is available at least until the end of August; for a skilled applicant there may be opportunities for a longer-term employment. Tasks involve fabrication, assembly and welding of metal structures. The candidate should enjoy practical hands-on work and be able to work with high quality both independently and as part of a team. You will apply your skills in varied projects where craftsmanship matters. Experience with welding methods such as MIG, TIG, stick and laser welding is valued. Installation work is considered a merit since some projects include installation and assembly tasks in addition to fabrication. The position requires the ability to read technical drawings, meticulousness and a drive to do the work well. We offer versatile work for a metal industry professional, competitive pay and the chance to work on varied projects. Pay is determined by skill and experience, typically in the range of about 17–24 €/h. The employment follows the Teollisuuden työehtosopimus (Technology Industry collective agreement).
