Work Coordinator

We are looking for a work coordinator for a fixed-term employment contract until December 31, 2026, for the home care optimization center in South Ostrobothnia. Home care in the South Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county operates with one common optimization center, which has four service points located in Seinäjoki, Lehtimäki, Kauhava, and Kauhajoki. The optimization center distributes client visits to the region's care staff on a shift-by-shift basis using an operational guidance system. The unit employs 23 work coordinators in two shifts every day of the year. The work coordinator operates in the optimization center together with other coordinators, serving the entire wellbeing services county. The work coordinator's duties include managing client visits, potential changes to visits, and identifying the region's resource needs. Active cooperation is carried out with regional employees, service managers, and home care coordinators. The work coordinator's job is versatile and varied, and no two days are the same. The eligibility requirement for the tasks is a vocational qualification in social and health care, practical nurse (eligibility according to Act 559/1994 or 817/2015) or an earlier equivalent degree. We require registration in Valvira's central register of professionals. The practical nurse's medication permits must be valid or completed within two months of the start of employment. The terms of employment and remuneration are determined according to the SOTE agreement. A criminal record extract according to the Act (504/2002) must be presented before accepting the position. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
