We are looking for PRACTICAL NURSES for home services for families with children in the Helsinki area! In home services for families, you will take care of our client families' children and get to play and spend time outdoors with wonderful children. At the same time, you will concretely support the smooth running of families' everyday lives and the well-being of parents through your work, helping to prevent and alleviate problems for children and families as early as possible. In connection with respite care according to the Act on Services for Persons with Disabilities, you will provide a much-needed break for the family caregiver of a child or youth. We offer work according to your own life situation, in families that suit you. Generally, your shift in a family lasts 2-4 hours at a time. Work is available mainly on weekdays between 8:00 and 20:00, and you can choose when you want to work! It would be ideal if you could commit to at least one of our client families for about 3 months. We are also happy to employ you more full-time. If you wish, you can work shifts in, for example, two different families on the same day. The work takes place mainly in our client families' own homes and their surroundings, across various parts of Helsinki! WE EXPECT FROM YOU: -A degree as a PRACTICAL NURSE or another suitable degree in the social or health sector (practical nurse, basic care nurse, home care nurse) -Professional experience working with children and families -A proactive, active attitude and the ability to work independently -Sufficient Finnish language skills to communicate with families -We also value experience working with children with special needs (e.g., neuropsychiatric challenges, autism spectrum). WE EXPECT FROM YOU: A degree as a PRACTICAL NURSE or another suitable degree in the social or health sector (childcare worker, home care nurse, early childhood education teacher, children's instructor). You have professional experience working with children and families, as well as a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently. Good oral and written Finnish language skills are essential for this job. / -PLEASE, NOTE! In this position, good written and spoken skills in FINNISH are required in this position! If you wish to work with respite care, we require experience working with children with special needs (e.g., neuropsychiatric challenges, autism spectrum) and in disability services. You must also have at least one reference from previous employment with children and a clean criminal record for working with children. The person selected for the position must present to the employer a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
