Metalworker

Are you a versatile metal professional who enjoys working both in the workshop and with installation work in the field? We are seeking a versatile metalworker for a workshop for our client. The work consists mainly of metalwork in the workshop, but occasionally includes installations in the field within the Kainuu region, for example at mines and data center construction sites. This is a long-term position for a good worker, and work is performed on weekdays during normal day shifts. The job description includes MAG welding, the manufacture and assembly of various metal structures, and installation work at sites. Additionally, the work involves wet painting with a high-pressure sprayer, so basic surface treatment skills are an important part of the role. The work requires an independent approach, but you will be surrounded by a skilled and practical team. You are suitable for this job if you have: * Experience in MAG welding (material thickness 3-25 mm) and willingness to complete small-class certifications * Installation skills and willingness to work in the field * Experience in surface treatment tasks in the metal industry * Education in the metal field or equivalent work experience * Ability to read drawings and work independently * A valid occupational safety card (or willingness to complete it) It is a plus (but not mandatory) if you also have: * Previous experience in workshop work and industrial installations * Valid welding certifications * Forklift or crane license * Experience with heavier steel structures We offer you: * A salary according to or better than the collective agreement (TES), paid on time.
