Electrical & Automation Designer

You will join a demanding, long-term machinery project as an expert in electrical and automation design, collaborating closely with the customer and the project team. The role emphasizes technical problem solving, managing complex systems, and driving design forward in cooperation with stakeholders. There is a possibility of partial hybrid work. Responsibilities include designing electrical and automation solutions as part of a large machinery project; collaborating with the customer and other design disciplines; participating in defining and developing technical solutions; ensuring design quality, documentation, and drawing reviews for technical correctness; playing an active role in project technical discussions and decisions; mentoring younger colleagues and sharing expertise to support project progression. Requirements include relevant electrical or automation engineering education; at least five years of experience in electrical or automation design; experience with Siemens environments; E3 proficiency or strong experience with similar electrical design tools; ability to work independently and take ownership of systems; willingness to guide younger designers and review design materials for quality, feasibility, and technical requirements; good collaboration and communication skills; fluency in Finnish and English.
