Electrical and Automation Engineer

As an Electrical and Automation Engineer at Pro-Tot, you will be part of a project team working on customer-oriented projects. You may also support maintenance specialist teams in various development initiatives. Your tasks primarily include PLC application design, HMI programming and visualization, electrical design, and commissioning of projects. Where needed you will also troubleshoot and provide technical support at customer sites. You will participate in project planning and cost estimation. You will be supported by experienced professionals across project engineering, automation, manufacturing, and maintenance. Travel within the country is occasional. We expect from the applicant a suitable engineering degree (engineer/DI), at least two years of relevant experience, PLC and HMI programming experience, understanding of industrial piece-producing automation, teamwork and customer-facing skills, good communication and problem-solving abilities, English proficiency, and willingness to travel. Desirable: experience with Siemens programming environments, robot programming (ABB), electrical drives, WinCC and SCADA expertise, Ethernet-based networks, project work, sensor/instrumentation know-how, machine vision, safety programming (primarily Siemens), and process automation.
