About the role

UNDP Morocco is recruiting an Inclusive Growth Coordinator at the NPSA-9 level. The Coordinator will provide substantive coordination, programmatic and policy advisory support across a portfolio covering inclusive growth, poverty reduction and employment, social protection, health and development, and financing for development, with a particular emphasis on the local and territorial level. Scope of Work: - Ensure portfolio coordination, quality assurance and strategic positioning: Coordinate implementation, monitoring and reporting aligned with CPD, UNSDCF, Agenda 2030, and Morocco's national priorities. Provide backstopping for project managers on poverty, employment, and social protection. Lead integrated programming and design new initiatives. - Ensure substantive coordination and programming across thematic areas: Provide policy advisory on inclusive growth, decent work, social protection, health, and sustainable development financing. Coordinate analytical work with HCP and ONDH. Engage with sub-national authorities and the private sector. - Build partnerships, resource mobilization and knowledge management: Identify funding opportunities and draft proposals for donors and IFIs. Lead knowledge management and promote South-South and triangular cooperation. Minimum Qualifications: - Advanced university degree (Master's) in Economics, Development Studies, Political Economy, Public Finance, or related field. (Bachelor's with 2 additional years of experience considered). - Minimum 2 years (with Master's) or 4 years (with Bachelor's) of professional experience in inclusive growth, poverty reduction, employment, social protection, health, or financing for development. - Experience in coordinating development programmes, policy analysis, and quantitative skills. - Fluency in French and Arabic is required; English is desired.

  • Contribute to resource mobilization and identify funding opportunities
  • Lead knowledge management and produce policy briefs and case studies
  • Promote South-South and triangular cooperation

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (Master's) in Economics, Development Studies, Political Economy, Public Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience (with Master's) or 4 years (with Bachelor's) in inclusive growth, poverty reduction, employment, social protection, health, or financing for development
  • Experience in coordinating development programmes and quality assurance
  • Experience in policy analysis and production of high-quality written outputs
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with Government, private sector, and civil society
  • Familiarity with Moroccan development context and public administration
  • Experience in resource mobilization and drafting concept notes
  • Fluency in French and Arabic (written and spoken)
