We are now seeking a practical nurse (lähihoitaja) for a permanent contract. Welcome to become a guiding partner at Rinnekodit Heikkilä and Rinnekodit Atlas. Our treatment centers are daytime activity units for clients with developmental disabilities in the autism spectrum, aged 17–41. Atlas is a 25-bed unit in Espoo near Iso Omena; Heikkilä is a 13-bed unit near Kirkkonummi. Our units are part of challenging developmental disability work. Role and goals: The guide plays a key role in recognizing individual client needs and ensuring quality care, respecting client autonomy. Your work includes guiding, basic care, medication administration and rehabilitative care, and supporting clients in daily activities. We offer thorough orientation and training. You will work in both units as needed. Requirements: a social and health care degree, registration with Suosikki, a social and health care professional card or willingness to obtain it during the probation period, readiness to demonstrate medication administration competence within four months, Finnish language basics, experience with developmental disabilities, autism-related care, vaccination protection as required by law, and appreciation of alternative communication methods. We are a non-smoking, substance-free workplace. A criminal background check is conducted before employment as required by law. We operate under a private social services collective agreement. We offer a salary in pay grade G22 (2495.24–2825.05 €), a temporary allowance of 150 €/month for challenging developmental work, comprehensive occupational health care, extensive accident insurance, an assigned mentor and tailored onboarding, opportunities to utilize your skills and advance in your career.
