Internal Medicine Physician

Onni offers internal medicine on-call shifts outside of regular working hours at Savonlinna Central Hospital. The on-call physician is responsible for the examination and treatment of emergency patients in the conservative specialties of internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, neurology, and pediatrics, as well as partially psychiatric patients. The physician is also responsible for telephone consultations for emergency medical services. During the night shift, the internal medicine physician works alone and is also responsible for surgical patients. Savonlinna Central Hospital is a small and well-regarded facility. The joint emergency service has good senior support, a functional triage system, and friendly, competent staff to support the work. The specialized medical care and primary health care sectors work well together, and consultation is easy. Internal medicine shifts can be arranged to fit your own calendar, and there is no quantitative on-call obligation. You can work individual shifts or agree on a longer work period.
