
Process Group Manager
Process Group Manager for the L76 unit at Avesta, responsible for leading and developing the operation section to meet agreed goals. You work closely with the Production Manager KBR and may act as deputy for him and for other process group managers. Daily work links operations and maintenance and you participate in planning and prioritising actions within your area, and when needed also within other parts of KBR. Working hours are day shifts according to a rolling schedule that includes weekends and holidays for two people. Schedule: 06.00–16.00 (flex time possible). 7 days on followed by 7 days off. Example: start Tuesday morning and finish Monday afternoon. The role covers a broad range of responsibilities from safety and people management to ensuring stable operation, good quality and continuous improvement. You lead work both in daily production flow and during various production stoppages, while driving the implementation of Outokumpu’s management system. Your responsibilities include overall accountability for your production section, team and the plant’s function. Specifically: lead and plan the work for your staff; be responsible for occupational safety and environment as per delegation; ensure instructions, safety regulations and routines are followed and developed; drive improvement initiatives; coordinate resources within the production section; actively develop the team; lead during planned and unplanned stoppages.

Requirements
- engineering background in materials or mechanical engineering or equivalent process industry experience
- production experience in heavy industry
- previous leadership experience
- good command of English (spoken and written)
