We are now seeking two registered nurses for fixed-term employment in our pleasant team at the Ivalo Health Centre's primary health care ward and emergency department. The substitutions begin on September 1, 2026, or by agreement, and currently last until January 17, 2027. Substitutions may potentially continue beyond that date. Our ward has 16 patient beds, and outside office hours, we also manage the emergency services, which operate 24/7 in our health centre. The position is shift work in three shifts. We require the applicant to have legal authorization in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/94). We expect good cooperation skills, an independent work approach, initiative, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in ward/emergency work and proficiency in the Sami language are considered special merits. The position-specific salary is €3,082.64/month. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement, and the probationary period is half the duration of the employment. Regarding staff vaccination protection, we follow the vaccination protection required by the nature of the work and the Communicable Diseases Act.
