Job Description We are looking for a locksmith to strengthen our five-person team in the Rovaniemi and Lapland region. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and technical installation of locking and door solutions, primarily in new construction and renovation projects. The work is independent, requires precision, and offers the opportunity to work with diverse and technically advanced systems. Responsibilities A versatile and responsible locksmith role that combines traditional mechanical machining and the management of modern low-voltage technology in various construction projects in the Lapland region. - Mechanical machining of locks and doors in wood, aluminum, and stainless steel materials - Low-voltage and small-scale electrical installations for locking systems - Installation of locking solutions in new construction and renovation projects - Independent work at varying sites, such as stores and hotels - Installation of security system components and products - Ensuring work quality through precise craftsmanship at customer sites - Cooperation with the team and other stakeholders on construction sites We are looking for - Previous experience in locking installations is a significant advantage. - Ability to handle tools confidently and produce precise results. - Solution-oriented mindset, ability to work well independently on sites, and resilience toward tight schedules and occasional rushes. - Fluent Finnish language skills. - Class B driver's license. - A clean background for security clearance We value if you have - A background as a property maintenance worker, electrical or automation installer, or security guard. - A valid occupational safety card (turvasuojakortti) - Completed Abloy authorization courses To succeed in the role, you are: - Flexible and stress-tolerant - Systematic and precise - Responsible and diligent - Eager to learn and solution-oriented Our recruitment process Academic Work is handling this search on behalf of its client, who requests that all questions regarding the position be directed to Academic Work.
