Service Assistant

Mäntsälä's meal and cleaning services are guided by a customer service perspective. At the center of the services are children and youth. We are united by a common goal of creating well-being, good food, and a clean and pleasant learning environment for students and staff. We believe in a responsible work attitude and a team-based way of working. In Mäntsälä, there are 11 primary schools, 1 comprehensive school, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. There are 5 daycare centers. We offer substitutes of various lengths for meal service workers and cleaners in these units. For short-term substitutions, we hire professionals in the field as well as those studying in the field and others interested in the field. We require a minimum age of 18. A hygiene passport is desirable but not essential for short-term substitutions or cleaning work. A tuberculosis clearance regarding the respiratory system for those working with children under school age is checked before the substitution begins. Please note that work is available irregularly and on short notice. Once you have filled out and sent the open application for meal services, the application is immediately registered in our electronic recruitment system. After filling out the application, you will receive a username and password by email. You will need these to use your electronic calendar or update your application. After receiving your application, we will contact you to arrange an interview. In the interview, we will also guide you in using the electronic calendar and define together the units where you want to work. After the interview, you can start using your electronic calendar. When you have filled in your calendar, you will receive job offers from us by text message on your phone on your desired days. Keeping the calendar up to date is absolutely essential. In addition to the calendar, we may also offer shifts directly by phone.
