Software Deployment Engineer

The role sits in Turku product development team and focuses on installation, maintenance, and support of our software in Linux environments (cloud services and on-prem installations) in collaboration with other stakeholders and customers. You will also provide technical support to existing customers and participate in project deliveries. Your duties include: software installation, configuration and integration in different server environments; support and troubleshooting for our browser-based applications; maintenance and development of our cloud services; collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth projects and best customer experience; supporting existing customers with problems or questions about system usage; occasional on-call on outside regular hours. Desired skills: suitable university degree; experience managing Linux and configuring it; Bash scripting; Docker and Docker Compose; GitLab experience; excellent communication and customer service skills; initiative, service-mindedness, flexibility as tasks and workload vary, and a consistent working style; fluent English required. Our working language is Finnish, but you can manage even if your Finnish is weaker. Python skills are a plus.
