Job Description

Vantaa City, Corporate Management and Vitality, Employment and Integration Services. Vantaa, Finland. Employment period: Fixed-term from 01.08.2026 or as agreed until 31.03.2028. Two project workers – Future Job Kioski Project. Would you like to help build new, quickly employable pathways and have a tangible impact on people's employment? Do you find hidden job opportunities? Do you speak the language of employers and understand the dynamics of the labor market? Are you development-oriented, networked, and an idea generator unafraid of new challenges, combining a solution-focused and future-oriented approach? If you answered yes, you are the person we are looking for! We are seeking two (2) project workers for Vantaa City to play a key role in developing and implementing the Future Job Kioski project in collaboration with a broad network. Since we are hiring two employees, it is important that they work as a pair and also complement each other! In a project involving multiple partners (Tamora Ltd, Hollola Municipality, and Varkaus City), you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating the activities of the Future Job Kioski project within Vantaa’s employment sector. You will have a central role in developing a new service model for connecting job seekers and employers and in implementing pilot projects with the network. The project involves three very different employment areas – Vantaa, Päijät-Häme, and Central Savo – which jointly identify customer segments and conduct regional workshops to practically design and evaluate service solutions tailored to each segment. The target group includes individuals transitioning to the labor market, as well as employment service experts, counselors, and regional employers who can offer employment pathways and participate in co-developing services. Project workers will be responsible for executing the project in Vantaa according to the project plan. The Future Job Kioski project aims to develop rapidly employable service models for nine customer groups with realistic and quick employment potential. These include, for example, international students, spouses returning to the workforce, laid-off workers, part-time workers, and those without a clear path after graduation. The main goal is to quickly match clients with employment opportunities and to coordinate employer and network collaboration around the Kioski. The project will develop services that complement statutory employment services, with Future Job Kioski functioning either before clients access statutory services or in early stages to supplement them.
