The role of a registered nurse in outpatient services is versatile and allows the selected candidate to utilize their nursing expertise extensively. The position primarily involves working in the outpatient services of Lempäälä. The primary place of work is the Lempäälä social and health center, but also the Vesilahti local clinic as needed. Nursing work in outpatient services includes assessing the need for care, planning care, and implementing care at the clinic and during procedures. Assessment of care needs is conducted through various digital channels and at the clinic. Duties include independent nursing work at the clinic, guidance and counseling, and monitoring the effectiveness of care. The proportion of digital work in the role of an outpatient services nurse is constantly growing. Work includes, among other things, sampling (ECG, TNT, CRP) and independent procedures such as iron infusions and venesections. Work in outpatient services is performed in a multidisciplinary team. A doctor can be consulted either on-site or remotely. Extensive cooperation is carried out with social and health services to facilitate patient care. What do we expect from you? - You are a registered nurse licensed in Finland. - You have previous work experience in clinic work and assessing the need for care. - You have successfully completed the LOVe exam sections LOP, KIPU 1/2, PKV, LAS, IV, ABO, and ROKOTUS. If these are not completed, it is possible to complete them after starting work. - You have good digital skills. - We value stress tolerance, an independent and flexible approach to work, as well as good cooperation and teamwork skills and a customer service attitude. The starting date for the position is September 1, 2026, or by agreement. The positions are fixed-term until December 31, 2026, and April 30, 2027. The probationary period is half the duration of the employment relationship. The work is full-time, and the regular working hours are 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The selected person must have vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
