Environmental Health Inspector

A part-time environmental health inspector position (40%) is available in Koski Tl municipality, serving the five-municipality environmental protection cooperation area including Auran, Kosken Tl, Marttila, Pöytyä and Sauvo. Kosken Tl municipality coordinates environmental protection services in these areas. The unit carries out tasks required by environmental protection legislation, such as permit processing, providing counsel on environmental protection matters, participating in inter-agency cooperation and performing inspections of sites. The office is located at the municipal office of Kosken Tl and the authority is the environmental protection board. The main duties of the part-time inspector focus on environmental protection supervision, guidance and advisory work related to the field. The other staff include a Chief Environmental Health Inspector responsible for the board, permit processing and administration, and an inspector responsible for supervision, permit preparation and field-related guidance and advisory work. The job requires access to a car. A suitable university degree or other relevant education is required. Proficiency in Finnish, both written and spoken, is required. The task-based pay is 40% of 3691.29 €/month (1476.52 €/month). Working hours are 40% of 36.25 h/week (14.5 h/week); office hours according to KVTES. The position is part-time (40%) and temporary from 14.9.2026 to 31.8.2027 with a 3-month trial period. Start date can be adjusted.
