About the role

The Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) serves as the national agency for the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes. Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for education, youth and sport, through which EDUFI annually funds various European cooperation and mobility projects with approximately 75 million euros, including over 1,000 Finnish organisations and over 25,000 study periods abroad per year. We are now looking for a financial management professional to join our team. Your duties will include: - Participation in the national-level financial monitoring and reporting to the Commission for EU-funded activities and networks. - On-site financial audits of EU projects at beneficiaries' premises. - EU grant payments to support recipients. - Reconciliation of EU appropriation bank accounts, monitoring of time registrations, and other financial management tasks. - Processing of the unit's purchase invoices, procurement processes, and travel expenses, as well as supporting the unit in various administrative processes. You will work in the EU Programme Coordination Unit as part of a 4-person finance and procedure team. The unit is part of the International Cooperation Department, whose task is to promote the internationalisation of society and the visibility and cooperation of Finnish education abroad, as well as to implement development cooperation in the field of education. Part of your described workload will also be directed to the Financial and Procurement Services Unit of the Finnish National Agency for Education.
