Join us in creating a sustainable society that operates on clean energy and reliable connections! We are currently looking for a Power Substation Designer for a permanent position. You can work at any Enersense office and/or remotely. In this role, you will be part of our highly valued substation design team, which consists of 19 members ready to support you in your Enersense career. The open position is within the Power Business Unit, where we help our clients implement energy transition through comprehensive services covering the entire energy sector lifecycle. These include the design, construction, and maintenance of transmission networks, substations, and battery storage. The business also provides solutions related to electrical substations for data centers. Responsibilities and tasks: As a lead designer, you will be responsible for the overall design of a designated substation project (schedule, work breakdown, and task allocation to other design team members, technical expertise, reporting to the project manager). Ensure that all aspects of the design are completed according to client requirements and in collaboration with the project team. Comment on and verify that designs meet client and standard requirements. Be part of a team designing control and protection systems for substations, switching and AC/DC distribution boards, relay cabinets, cabling, lighting, and 3D modeling of high-voltage systems, as well as structural plans for substations. You may also work as a substation designer in areas of your expertise, participating in design tasks. Support activities related to substation projects, such as documentation, procurement, and follow-up. Communicate within the project team and with clients.
