Your role You will work as a health center dentist in the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland, with your primary workplace being the Raisio Terveysristeys dental clinic. Shifts may also be located in other clinics in the Raisio-Rusko area. You will perform versatile basic dental care, which includes both non-urgent care tasks and emergency work. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, with approximately 700 oral health care professionals operating in the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland. The Raisio Terveysristeys unit employs 12 dentists, 15 dental nurses, and 4 dental hygienists. Additionally, several dentist-dental nurse pairs and dental hygienists operate in the Ihala and Rusko dental clinics in the Raisio-Rusko area. After-hours emergency care is organized through a joint oral health care emergency service, and appointment booking is centralized. What we expect from you The eligibility requirement is the legalization or permit to act in the duties of a dentist as stipulated in the Act on Health Care Professionals 559/94. We require good oral and written Finnish language skills and satisfactory oral Swedish language skills. Good cooperation and interaction skills as well as the ability to make independent decisions in patient work are expected. Previous experience in emergency work will support your success in the position. Satisfactory oral and written Swedish language skills and experience or interest in pediatric orthodontics are considered an advantage.
