Personal assistant for a man

Hello! I am a 32-year-old man who has had a stroke and therefore has a half-side paralysis. I am now seeking a Swedish-speaking assistant to help me in my daily life and leisure time. I have always been an active outdoorsy person and enjoy nature, with various hobbies, and want to continue my activities with an assistant. Another important value for me is politics and green and humane values. I need help with hygiene, clothing, transfers, and to bring out and put away things for me. I also care a lot about my cats and need help taking care of them. The assistant should be proactive, patient, clear and understand that communication with me should be calm. No experience required, but counted as merit. The assistant will receive all necessary introduction to the tasks. It is also desirable to have experience or understanding of people on the autism spectrum. Working hours 0–20 h/week, 2–5 h per session by agreement and flexible. The person chosen for the job needs to show a valid criminal record extract (Law on supervision of social and health care 741/2023 § 28). Interested? Apply directly via the link. We review applications continuously and hire as soon as we find a suitable assistant! If you want to know more before you apply, contact our advisor Merja Hellbom, tel. 040 580 4051.
