We are seeking a fixed-term lecturer in physics and mathematics. For the successful performance of the duties, good subject matter expertise and work experience in both basic education (especially grades 6-9) and upper secondary school are considered an advantage. We value an interest in and ability to develop teaching, as well as the skill to engage with diverse learners and provide appropriate support in the study of mathematics and physics. Additionally, we expect up-to-date ICT skills and good interaction and community skills. Eligibility is determined in accordance with the Decree on the Qualification Requirements for Teaching Staff (986/1998). The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), in accordance with the Act on Checking the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). We will begin interviews during the application period, so we hope to receive applications as soon as possible.
