We are looking for a psychologist for a parental leave substitute position at the Hyvinkää clinic of the HUS child psychiatry line. The substitution will be filled starting September 14, 2026, or by agreement, and ends on November 19, 2027. The Hyvinkää child psychiatry clinic is located at Hyvinkää Hospital. Administratively, the Hyvinkää clinic is part of the northern area of the child psychiatry line, which includes the Tikkurila clinic in addition to Hyvinkää. At the Hyvinkää clinic, children under 13 requiring specialized medical care from the Järvenpää, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, Mäntsälä, and Hyvinkää areas are examined and treated. The psychologist's job description includes psychologist consultations, assessments and examinations, family and network work, fixed-term focused individual and group treatments, and monitoring of treatment processes in the role of a responsible employee. The psychologist works at the Hyvinkää clinic as part of a multidisciplinary work group, and there are three other psychologist colleagues at the site. In HUS child psychiatry, you will become part of Finland's largest expert community working in child psychiatry. In addition to clinical work, we have opportunities for various development and project tasks. We support training and offer the selected person comprehensive orientation, supervision, and supervisor support. There is an opportunity to do work partly remotely. The person selected for the position must present an extract from the criminal record required for those working with children in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
