The Sámi Education Institute (SAKK) is looking for a skilled and development-oriented Production Manager for the new Njalla production facility to strengthen our operations at the core of reindeer husbandry and food production. The position offers a unique opportunity to combine production work, support for teaching, and the development of regional livelihoods. The Production Manager's task is to launch the operations of SAKK's new production facility and serve as its supervisor. The Production Manager is responsible for the daily planning, smooth operation, and continuous development of the production facility and its associated teaching slaughterhouse. The work includes operational management, coordinating teaching and production, quality management, and cooperation with various stakeholders. Additionally, the position includes project manager duties (55%) in a training project for reindeer meat processing and further processing, co-funded by the European Union (EU rural funding). The project manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, and reporting of the project, as well as cooperation with project stakeholders.
