This recruitment is carried out anonymously. We are looking for a FORESTRY SPECIALIST for a permanent employment contract for the Kajaani procurement district of Metsä Forest. What kind of work awaits you? As a forestry specialist, you are responsible for wood trade, the sale of forest services and a good customer experience in your operating area, Kuusamo. Your place of business is the Kuusamo local office. You are an important part of the Kajaani district's community of about 30 professionals. In your position, you report to the district manager. As a forestry specialist, you maintain contact with forest owners and plan forest management work and harvests for them, taking into account the biodiversity of the forest nature and occupational safety. You advise forest owners on all matters related to the care of forest assets. What do we expect from you? We expect from you a suitable forestry education, good interaction skills, a desire for active contacting of forest owners and the ability to work independently and effectively. The ability to make decisions is required in your work. We value expertise in the field and your previous experience in similar tasks is an advantage for you. Good oral and written Finnish language skills are required in the position. A driver's license is essential for the performance of the task.
