**Are you an experienced EHS professional with the ability to lead safety culture, develop operating procedures, and influence the activities of various stakeholders? This could be the next step in your career.** We are seeking an **EHS Manager** for an international construction project on behalf of our client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and monitoring the EHS activities of the site. You will collaborate particularly with the client, contractors, and the EHS team, serving as an expert and support for the various parties involved in the project. Success in this role requires strong experience in EHS management positions. We value the ability to lead safety proactively, build cooperation with different stakeholders, and implement EHS practices. **Employment** is fixed-term. The estimated duration of the project is several years (over 3 years), but the final duration of employment will be determined by the progress of the project. **Responsibilities** - Serve as a leading EHS expert within the team and on-site - Be responsible for the maintenance and development of the EHS management system in accordance with the client's and ISO standards - Coordinate cooperation and communication and guide the daily work of the EHS team during different phases of the construction project - Be responsible for EHS inductions, the implementation of safety requirements, and the execution of risk management measures - Plan and carry out EHS audits, site inspections, and safety walks, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions - Ensure the quality, timeliness, and compliance of risk assessments, method statements, and other safety documents in all phases of the project - Participate in the client's, contractors', and project's internal meetings as an EHS expert - Be responsible for EHS reporting and the timely delivery of reports required by the project and clients - Support the Programme EHS Lead and other experts **Requirements** - A suitable university degree, for example, in construction or environmental engineering - Willingness to work flexibly according to project needs, including shift work if necessary - Solid experience in EHS management in demanding construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects - Good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office software - Ability to lead safety culture and operate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders - Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international team - Language skills: The working language is Finnish; fluent written and spoken English **What we offer** - A fixed monthly salary.
