Injection Molding Machine Operator

We are seeking an INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE OPERATOR for a permanent position for our client. Pdat is a domestic, family-owned contract manufacturer with its own mold production and life cycle services. The company designs and manufactures plastic and metal products, including multi-component castings, through contract manufacturing. Pdat provides its customers with a full production environment from the first product designs to the final product manufacture. At the Liedo plant, Pdat implements mold life cycle services, injection molding production, and assembly. Over 1,800 injection molds have been produced over 17 years. Job description: Your duties include independent use of the injection molding machine, commissioning, monitoring, and adjustment. Your job description also includes maintenance procedures for the machine and, as learning progresses, machine installation work and the use of automation. Tasks are carried out in three shifts. Expectations: You are the person we are looking for if you have a suitable background for the position, e.g., education as a car mechanic, machine and production technology, or electrical and automation installer. Previous work experience in similar tasks within the plastic product industry is also preferred. Your working style is active, and you enjoy physical tasks above all. We also value a willingness to learn and an independent approach to work tasks. Success in the position also requires readiness to work in a 3-shift rotation, Finnish language skills, diligence, precision, and an understanding of quality regulations, which are demonstrated, among other things, by checks and measurements during production and reporting them to the company's ERP system.
