Mobile Developer

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Developer for our client to join a long-term digital services development project. You will develop widely used web services and mobile applications for a significant public administration organization as part of an experienced expert team. This position is ideally suited for IT freelancers and subcontractors operating through their own company and invoicing for their services. This is a full-time assignment (100% allocation) with an estimated start in autumn 2026. The project duration is 2 years, with the possibility of a two-year option period. Work is primarily remote, but occasionally takes place at the client's or project team's premises in the Helsinki metropolitan area. In this role, you will: -Develop modern mobile applications using cross-platform (Android/iOS) technologies -Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous development of mobile applications -Be responsible for application quality, testing, and maintenance -Utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of daily software development -Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions -Develop map and geospatial functionalities for mobile applications -Work in an agile development team together with various stakeholders We hope you have: -Strong experience in mobile development and cross-platform technologies such as React Native, Flutter, or .NET MAUI -Experience with mobile application publishing and maintenance processes -Skills in testing and quality assurance -Experience utilizing native features of mobile devices -Understanding of authentication and authorization solutions (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Entra ID, or Suomi.fi) -Experience implementing map and geospatial solutions.
