Registered Nurse - come join us at the New Children's Hospital to perform meaningful nursing work for children and families at the Vuori ward. The Vuori ward treats cardiology and surgery patients aged 0–16 as well as newborns. Cardiology and pediatric surgery patients at the Vuori ward are largely of preschool and infant age. Problems related to patients' respiration, hemodynamics, or nutrition require particularly precise monitoring, observation, and readiness for rapid medical interventions. Multiprofessional teamwork and close collaboration with the families of pediatric patients are emphasized in the work. The basis of nursing care is meeting patients according to their age and development and implementing family nursing. The work is full-time three-shift work, with approximately 3 nights in a 3-week schedule. Experience in specialized pediatric care is considered an advantage.
