Design Engineer

Mechanical & Electrical Design Engineers | Data Centre Project | Spain g2 are currently working with a leading organisation delivering a major data centre project in Spain and am looking to speak with experienced Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers interested in a long-term contract opportunity. Location: Spain Contract Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension) Start Date: ASAP Project Type: Data Centre / Mission Critical Responsibilities: - Develop and coordinate mechanical or electrical design packages for a large-scale data centre project. - Produce and review technical drawings, calculations and specifications. - Ensure designs comply with project requirements, local regulations and industry standards. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary design, construction and commissioning teams. - Support design reviews, value engineering exercises and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Electrical Design Engineer. - Previous experience delivering Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical or other complex MEP projects. - Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical building services design. - Experience with relevant design software and engineering standards. - Ability to work effectively within fast-paced project environments.
