Special Education Teacher - Kustavin kunta - Kustavi, Finland

The education services of Kustavi municipality are seeking a special education teacher for a fixed-term period from 7.8.2026 to 30.6.2027. We are looking for a special education teacher to be responsible for special education in early childhood education, pre-primary education, and basic education grades 1-6 in Kustavi municipality. Additionally, the position includes English language teaching for grades 3-6 at Kivimaa school. We hope the applicant has good interaction and teamwork skills. Eligibility requirements are determined in accordance with the Decree on the Qualifications of Teaching Staff (986/1998). Experience in early childhood education is valued. The substitute position may be filled on a fixed-term basis by an applicant with suitable qualifications. Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to OVTES. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. A four-month probationary period applies to the appointment.
