Welcome as an on-call worker to our municipality's early childhood education services! We offer short-term, 1-12 day on-call work for professionals in the field, students, retirees, and those interested in the field. Substitutions are available for childcare worker and facility maintenance worker positions in our municipality's various daycare centers. Teacher substitutions are not available through the substitution agency. With this application, you register for the early childhood education services substitution system. Upon receipt of the application, we will contact you by email. You can choose which daycare centers you work in and when you work. Experience in daycare work is desirable, but not mandatory. We require you to be at least 18 years old, proactive, energetic, able and confident to act both in a group of children and in various, changing work communities, as well as sufficient Finnish language skills. Before starting on-call work, a criminal record extract for working with children less than 6 months old must be presented. If you do not have an extract, it is advisable to order it at the latest immediately after sending the application from the National Registry Office. In addition, the statutory tuberculosis investigation is answered. We will send a secure email, by responding to which you provide the documents and fill in the tuberculosis investigation form. After that, you may be able to choose a suitable Teams interview/orientation time for yourself. We orient applicants for early childhood education on-call work mainly from the beginning of August after schools open until mid-April, except for Christmas holiday weeks. The application closes for the spring and summer period and will be opened again in August around the start of schools.
