We are seeking a **designer for a permanent position** at our machine shop in Joutsa. Our production is growing strongly, and we are looking for a new expert to strengthen our design team. We offer diverse design tasks where you will participate in project implementation from the quoting stage to the finished product. We are looking for a self-motivated, systematic, and responsible designer with a customer-oriented approach and a desire to develop products and operating methods together with the rest of the organization. Your duties include: - 3D design and modeling (Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD). - Preparing production and working drawings. - Converting customer plans into production-ready working drawings. - Checking DXF cutting paths and preparing material lists. - Preparing completed drawing packages to support production. - Designing, documenting, and developing own products. - Preparing sketch drawings during the quoting phase. - Producing design drawings and documentation during projects. - Customer meetings and approval of design solutions. - Preparing production drawings, welding instructions, material lists, and inspection documentation. - Supporting quality and inspection activities. - Ideation and product development for new products. The final content of the position will be formed based on the selected person's skills and experience. We hope for: - Appropriate technical education. - Experience in design tasks within the machinery or metal industry. - Good proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. - Proficiency in Office 365 software. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a project team. - A customer-oriented and systematic approach to work. - Good Finnish language skills. English language skills are considered an advantage.
