**Quantity Surveyor for new construction and renovation projects** As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the quantity take-off of subcontracts and main contracts in new construction and renovation. Your task is to produce highly accurate, clear, and consistently structured bills of quantities from design documents to serve as the basis for cost calculation, tendering, and the client's bid calculation. You will review project drawings, work specifications, and other design documents, identify deficiencies and contradictions affecting the calculation, and ensure that quantities are calculated with the correct boundaries and sufficient accuracy. You will document calculation bases clearly and highlight unclear or items requiring clarification for the rest of the team to handle. You will work in close cooperation with the calculation manager, cost estimators, and other quantity surveyors. Although you are primarily responsible for the practical implementation of your own calculation entities independently, bills of quantities are reviewed and finalized in collaboration with the team. The goal is not only to calculate quantities but to continuously develop more accurate, faster, and more uniform operating models. We are looking for a person who wants to develop into a highly precise quantity surveying professional and simultaneously participate in reforming the entire construction industry's bid calculation process. The work is 100% remote. As a Quantity Surveyor, you are not just a user of the service, but you will also participate in its development together with the rest of the team. Expertise, observations, and development ideas arising from practical calculation work will be integrated into the software and future automated calculation processes. We are building Finland's most accurate and systematic model for quantity surveying and bid calculation. We are looking for a person for our team who wants to produce exceptionally high-quality bills of quantities and be involved in developing how construction industry calculations will be done in the future.
