Welcome as a radiographer to the Meilahti radiology emergency unit! HUS Diagnostic Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our primary area of operation is the specialized medical care of the HUS group and the primary healthcare of the wellbeing services counties belonging to HUS. We are also responsible for the laboratory and imaging operations of the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia wellbeing services counties. We operate in eight medical specialties. Nationally, we are responsible for several examinations requiring special expertise, as well as research and teaching belonging to the university hospital. Diagnostic examinations play a central role in confirming or ruling out diseases, as part of treatment, and in treatment monitoring and screening. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging experts work at HUS Diagnostic Center across over 150 locations. We are seeking two radiographers for permanent employment. Our unit in Meilahti is an emergency unit where work is conducted in three-shift rotations. Modalities in our unit include native examinations, computed tomography (CT), cone-beam CT, and ultrasound examinations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in Europe's first RAPTOR room, which combines emergency patient diagnostics and operating room functions. We also work in close cooperation with other imaging units in Meilahti.
