About the role

We are looking for a full-time Security Team Lead (TL) at Avarn Security Oy for a data center site assignment in Hamina. This is a challenging and demanding role, but it also offers a great opportunity to make a real difference in the security of our clients' data centers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The working hours will be primarily office hours from Monday to Friday with flexible working hours within certain limits. Primarily the TL will be responsible for Managing and leading sub-teams inside the campus security team; supporting and improving client’s risk management and security practices; supporting the local security team across organization and reporting to Avarn Security Area Manager, the client and other relevant parties. From all job applicants we expect: solid understanding of high-security principles; a leadership background; solid communication skills, in spoken and written Finnish and English; good team working abilities and adaptability to travel in the Nordic countries. Being successful in this position will require the ability to withstand pressure and good interactional and problem solving skills. We also value previous experience in the field of data center security and applicants' ability to work flexible hours. Our core principle is putting the right people in the right positions. This allows us to tailor the position to leverage the key strengths and qualities of the successful candidate in order to support high quality service delivery. The selected candidate for this position is required to undergo a medical examination, including a drug test. We comply with the Palta collective agreement (Palta:n toimihenkilöitä koskeva työehtosopimus).
