About the role

We at VAKE are boldly building a wellbeing area together that our residents can trust. We want to be a stable pioneer that renews operations openly and human-centrically. Our values of fairness, responsibility, and courage guide our daily work. Do you recognize these as your own values? Join our 'Hyvantekijät' team! Hello social worker, welcome to work with us! We are looking for a social worker for a permanent position in child welfare outpatient care starting 11.11.2026 or by agreement at the Myyrmäki office. The office is located in the immediate vicinity of the train station, with good transport links. There is some free parking available near the office for those traveling by car. As a social worker in child welfare outpatient care, you will work with a planned, relationship-based, and systemic approach for the best interest of the child in cooperation with the child, the family, and their networks. You will act as the social worker responsible for the cases of the children who are clients. The work is diverse, challenging, and demanding, but at the same time inspiring and rewarding. We adhere to client quotas and offer a good induction. We require the applicant to have experience in child welfare social work. Experience in outpatient social work and knowledge of the Apotti client information system are considered an advantage. We value a client-oriented and development-positive working style as well as good interaction skills and readiness for pair work. We hope the applicant has the ability for independent and solution-oriented work as well as good teamwork skills. Good oral and written skills in Finnish are essential. To support success in the position, we offer a work environment where you are trusted and your work contribution is appreciated. In the Myyrmäki office, there are three teams, each with social workers, a special social guide or social guide, and a leading social worker. There is also a family therapist and a secretary in the office. We work in offices of 1-2 people. In Myyrmäki, we have received praise for the pleasant atmosphere, good community spirit, and collegial support available across team boundaries. Social workers act as pairs with social guides, special social guides, and other social workers. Our leading social workers are experienced, and the core of their duties is the guidance and support of client work. To support the work, we also have a client guidance group that supports the arrangement of services and finding the most suitable service for the client family. We welcome new employees with joy!
