Location: Helsinki metropolitan area/Uusimaa Start date: When a suitable person is found Employment type: Full-time Type of work: Staffing assignment Other: Opportunity for partial remote work Role description In this role, you will solve clients’ technical challenges, investigate factors affecting building performance and find workable solutions for different properties. No two renovation projects are alike. You will work on office buildings, hotels, museums, hospitals, sports centres and other demanding properties. The work combines practical site visits, expert work and problem-solving. This gives you a unique opportunity to develop your expertise across different roles in the construction and property sector. Renovation projects form the foundation of the role, while you will also work closely with construction management, project management, design coordination and supervision experts in the project management business unit. You will gain a broad view of the entire project lifecycle and the opportunity to develop your expertise beyond traditional specialist roles. Depending on your interests, skills and career development, you can grow into a client-responsible specialist, a construction management specialist or a project manager. As part of the project management business unit, you will also have the opportunity to take part in international projects. As you gain experience, you can broaden your role into design, supervision, construction management, client responsibility or project management in international project teams. Duties Your tasks include: - Measuring indoor conditions - Technical investigations - Assessing building performance - Planning corrective measures and carrying out supervisory duties We are looking for - Relevant education (MSc in Technology or a university of applied sciences engineering degree) - Experience in HVAC design, contracting, property maintenance or other building-services expert roles - A self-directed and solution-oriented approach - A desire to develop your expertise and take responsibility - An interest in client work and building long-term client relationships - An ambition to develop into more demanding expert or project-management roles Experience in renovation, building automation systems, energy solutions, and indoor-air and condition investigations is an advantage. Fluent Finnish is essential for the role. Good spoken and written English is also required of those participating in international projects.
