About the role

**We are seeking a qualified guitar teacher** We are looking for a professional and motivated guitar teacher for our private music school. **We expect from the applicant:** - At least a university of applied sciences (AMK) degree in music or equivalent qualification - At least three (3) years of teaching experience - Experience teaching students of different ages and levels - Experience teaching both acoustic and electric guitar - Good interaction and cooperation skills - A responsible, reliable, and proactive approach to work, as well as a commitment to long-term cooperation. **We offer two cooperation models:** **1. Cooperation via your own business ID (Y-tunnus)** - Fee is €46 / 60-minute lesson. **2. Employment contract** - Salary is €31 / 60-minute lesson. - In the employment contract, remuneration is not determined by a collective agreement (TES), as we are a private music school funded entirely by our own resources. The working day is currently on Wednesdays. The number of students varies, and the workload may increase during the school year. We organize trial lessons throughout the year, which allows the number of teaching hours to increase gradually. After the application period ends, we will contact via email those applicants who are invited for an interview. During the interview, the applicant must give a teaching demonstration of approximately 20 minutes. We value a teacher who is inspiring, punctual, reliable, and genuinely interested in the students' musical development.
