About the role

As a registered nurse, you will work in the general medicine rehabilitation ward, where patients arrive for follow-up care from specialized medical care, such as orthopedic, traumatology, and neurology units, as well as from the emergency department. The work is versatile and offers the opportunity to utilize your nursing expertise extensively and continuously learn new things. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment where a rehabilitative and patient-centered approach is central. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, you will not be left alone in your work - a colleague is by your side in every shift, and you will receive a comprehensive orientation to the ward's tasks. Our ward actively develops the principles of a resource-based approach together with other Tyks general medicine rehabilitation wards, and we are involved in various development projects. Work is performed in three shifts. What we offer you We offer you the opportunity to develop as a general medicine nursing expert in an interesting and varied operating environment. We consider it an advantage if you have: - enthusiasm for a resource-based approach - good community skills. The eligibility requirement is a legal authorization as a registered nurse in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). Performing the duties requires good proficiency in Finnish. Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage. We may interview applicants during the application period.
