Operations Engineer

We are seeking a Metal Recovery Operations Engineer for Terrafame in Sotkamo to work with the production of metal recovery commodities. The employment is permanent and work begins as soon as possible by agreement. This is a day job with hybrid work possibilities. In the position, you are partly responsible for ensuring that the metal recovery process works flawlessly. Your work includes monitoring and developing the process and instructing production operators. There is a strong development aspect in the work - you will get to develop the process, instructions and operating methods in cooperation with development engineers. In addition, the task includes close cooperation and substituting for other operations engineers. We expect from you: - Higher university degree in process or chemical engineering or equivalent expertise acquired through work experience (other suitable education and work experience are also considered) - Development-oriented and systematic approach to work - Good communication skills and a desire to learn new things - Safety-oriented approach to work - Fluent Finnish language skills Previous experience in similar tasks and automation expertise is an advantage, but we also offer a great opportunity for future talents.
