Project Planner, Compute Nordic Finland

Compute Nordic is looking for a Project Planner to build tomorrow's digital infrastructure. In this role, you will not follow just one project, but will be involved in building several of Compute Nordic's data centers in Finland. You will start working on the Mikkeli data center project, after which you will also participate in the company's future domestic projects. The position offers an excellent vantage point for large investment projects, project management, and the rapidly growing data center industry. Compute Nordic builds and operates energy-efficient data center and computing infrastructure for international customers. We focus on responsibly produced digital infrastructure that combines high availability, renewable energy, efficient cooling, and modern operating models. Finland is a strategic growth market for Compute Nordic. We are building a new organization and data center capacity here to serve the rapidly growing demand for AI and cloud computing. The employment is permanent, and the position can be performed remotely within Finland. Job Description As a Project Planner, you are responsible for the planning, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle. You ensure that the project organization has continuous, up-to-date visibility into project progress, critical phases, and potential schedule risks. You will work in close cooperation with project management, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and contractors. Your work ensures that project decision-making is based on reliable and current information. Responsibilities - Creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 software - Monitoring project progress and analyzing schedule deviations - Identifying the critical path and schedule risks - Preparing weekly and monthly reports to support project management - Coordinating schedules between different project stakeholders - Assessing the impact of changes and delays - Preparing corrective actions and schedule recovery plans - Presenting the project schedule status to internal and external stakeholders Requirements - Suitable technical education - Experience in project schedule planning and project monitoring - Good proficiency in Primavera P6 - Understanding of project management and project control methods - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Systematic and proactive approach to work - Good cooperation and communication skills - Fluent in Finnish and English Experience in data center, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or other demanding construction projects is valued.
