Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced MEP design professional to influence major facility and property projects in Turku. The role combines technical design excellence, project management, and, if desired, team development and leadership. The Turku office of Granlund is strengthening its expert team with a seasoned HVAC designer who can lead significant multi-disciplinary projects involving hospital/healthcare facilities, schools, day care centers, offices, industrial properties and renovations. The position is full-time and permanent, with hybrid work but a strong emphasis on collaborative work in the office. The ideal candidate will bring a degree in HVAC engineering (AMK) or aDiploma Engineer, about 5–6 years of recent experience in HVAC design for demanding or very demanding occupancy buildings, EV-class expertise or experience to pursue it, and FISE or equivalent qualifications are a plus. Proficiency with IT tools including MagiCAD in AutoCAD or Revit is expected, and fluency in Finnish with practical English; Swedish is a plus. The person should be proactive, approachable, and solution-focused, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining client relationships.
