We are looking for a purchasing and logistics coordinator for our client Oy Machine Tool Co for a permanent and full-time position. In the role, you are responsible for the practical management of the order-delivery chain, from making purchase orders and monitoring delivery times to coordinating shipments, processing invoices, and maintaining contact with principals. The employment contract is concluded directly with Oy Machine Tool Co, and Eilakaisla acts as the recruitment partner. Work begins according to the agreement as soon as a suitable person is found. Job Description As a purchasing and logistics coordinator, you are responsible for the smooth progress of the order-delivery chain. In your work, you ensure that orders, delivery times, shipments, and invoices are up to date and that the necessary information flows between suppliers, sales, warehouse, and other internal stakeholders. In everyday life, you handle purchase orders and order confirmations, monitor delivery schedules, coordinate shipments, and handle invoices related to purchases, freight, and maintenance. In addition, you are in contact with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, product information, and possible claims. The role also includes the maintenance of product and supplier information. This is suitable for you if you like systematic work and are interested in ensuring that information is correct, findable, and up to date. Since it is a small company, the position also includes other daily support tasks and substituting for the warehouse manager during absences. You will be oriented to these tasks, and no previous warehouse experience is required. We expect from you - previous experience in a similar purchasing, logistics, order-delivery chain or other coordinating role - systematic, precise and responsible work approach - good self-management skills and the ability to keep several things under control simultaneously - fluent Finnish and English language skills - experience using some ERP system - experience using Microsoft Outlook and other everyday office tools - courage to investigate things, ask clarifying questions and, if necessary, pick up the phone - service-minded and cooperative attitude for interacting with internal and external stakeholders - interest in developing your own work, operating methods and data management We offer you Our client offers you a permanent and versatile position where you can work with purchasing, logistics and the order-delivery chain.
