Registered Nurse

A long-term substitute Registered Nurse is needed for the Nurmijärvi acute ward. The ward provides primary healthcare hospital care for acutely ill patients, rehabilitation patients requiring follow-up care, and palliative care patients. It also serves as a support ward for end-of-life care patients of the regional home hospital. The average length of stay is approximately 9 days. The ward is centrally located in the center of Nurmijärvi. Care and rehabilitation are planned and implemented by a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, practical nurses, and physiotherapists. The work is shift-based, including evening, weekend, and night shifts, though the employer offers flexibility in tailoring the work arrangement. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Health Care or an earlier institute-level degree, and a legal license as a registered nurse. Medication permits for acute medical treatment are required, which can be completed during the probationary period.
