Cashier

Aavasaksan Huippu (Aavasaksa Lapland Oy) is looking for a cashier (30 h/week) for the end of the autumn season! Come work in a new cafe-restaurant at the peak of Aavasaksanvaara! Your duties will include customer service, dishwashing, cleaning, as well as shelving and unloading shipments. We have applied for a serving license for the autumn season. Requirements: - hygiene passport - B-class driver's license (exception license for 17-year-olds is also acceptable) - readiness to use Finnish, Swedish, and English in customer service - customer service attitude - readiness for evening and weekend work - alcohol serving passport Considered an advantage: - extensive language skills - interest in developing the operations of the tourism information center - previous experience in cafe and restaurant work - readiness for small-scale kitchen work Remuneration according to the Mara-sector collective agreement (TES). The probationary period of the employment is 2 weeks. The employment is initially for the period 19.8.–30.9.2026. For the winter season 2026–2027, it may be possible to offer a contract extension in various roles (ski slopes, ski cafe, a la carte restaurant) depending on operational and seasonal needs, as well as the employee's willingness and skills.
