Early childhood education teacher, Nissas unit Vantaa City, Education and Learning, Early Childhood Education Hevoshaa daycare centre Hevoshaantie 17, 01200 Vantaa Employment duration: Permanent, starting 2 November 2026 or as agreed. Hello, enthusiastic early childhood education teacher—welcome to our unit! The Nissas unit includes Hepopuisto, Hevoshaa and Nissas daycare centres. The unit is managed using a shared leadership model in which one daycare centre director is responsible for personnel and finances and the other for customers and pedagogy. We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a group of children aged 3–5 at Hevoshaa daycare centre. We offer a skilled, relaxed, humorous and supportive work community. The early childhood education teacher acts as the pedagogical leader of their team and plans and implements activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan together with the team. As a teacher, you are part of the daycare centre’s management team, and the skilled work community supports you in your role as the team’s pedagogical leader. The allowance applies to permanent positions and only to early childhood education teachers, special education teachers in early childhood education, and daycare centre directors. Employment details Qualification requirement: eligibility as an early childhood education teacher in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act. The terms of employment are determined by the collective agreement for municipal teaching personnel (OVTES). Salary: €3,129.71–€3,234 per month. An additional €15 per month is paid for a degree meeting the qualification requirements, and €37.88 per month for a Master of Education degree. A work-experience supplement of 3–8% is based on previous work experience. Required checks: The selected person must present a valid criminal-record extract. For selected employees working with children under school age, a respiratory tuberculosis examination is checked under section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
