HUS Diagnostic Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our primary area of operation is the specialized healthcare of the HUS group and the primary healthcare of the wellbeing services counties belonging to HUS. We are also responsible for the laboratory and imaging operations of the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia wellbeing services counties. We operate in eight medical specialties. Nationally, we are responsible for several examinations requiring special expertise, as well as research and teaching belonging to the university hospital. Diagnostic examinations play a central role in confirming and ruling out diseases, as part of treatment, and in treatment monitoring and screening. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging experts work at HUS Diagnostic Center across over 150 locations. We are now seeking a laboratory nurse for a permanent position in the pathology area of the Diagnostic Center. In this versatile role, you will belong to several multidisciplinary teams where we strive to encourage and support one another. Our field is constantly evolving, and developing new methods is part of our daily work. Your duties include, among other things: * processing tissue and cell samples * various tasks related to the pathology process according to your skill level * ward sampling. Depending on your interests, you will also have the opportunity to handle various responsibility tasks. What do we hope for from you? You are a qualified bioanalyst/laboratory nurse and may have experience in clinical pathology through work or internships.
